For the first ten years of my career, I was a professional job-hopper, switching roles every 18 months to two years.

Sometimes it was a new company; other times, I was chasing the next role or promotion in the same place. Eventually, I landed my “dream job” at my “dream company.” I loved what I was doing, and I was actually good at it. It felt like I’d finally found The One. I could finally just… exhale.

But, like clockwork, 18 months later, I was back in interview mode, eyeing the same role at another company. The first interview went great, but something about it felt unsettling. It forced me to finally ask myself a question I’d never considered: Why am I ready to leave again?

I was already working on some amazing brands, getting opportunities to mentor newer team members—what reason did I have to leave? And when I couldn’t answer that question, I knew I had to step back and figure out the deeper reason behind my career restlessness.

Then came a solo Kundalini yoga retreat, followed by four months with a purpose coach.

Slowly, I realised that I’d been carrying around a quiet but persistent feeling for years that I could contribute differently. Sure, I was a strong advertising strategist, marketer, and researcher. But just because I was good at it—and even recognised for it—didn’t mean it was fulfilling me.

I also remembered something while in coaching that I’d long forgotten: after undergrad, while I was still considering a traditional psychology career, I attended an open day for a new diploma in Professional Coaching. Excited, I approached the speaker to ask more about the qualification, only to be told, “You need more life experience first.” Back then, I was obviously crushed. But reflecting back now, it feels kind of serendipitous; because I’d finally gotten the life experience. And it felt like the right time to got for it so, I enrolled in SACAP’s Postgraduate Coaching Diploma.

Since then, I’ve experienced what so many modern, ambitious career women go through:

  • Layoffs and retrenchments

  • Burnout

  • “Quiet” promotions with no real recognition

  • Toxic bosses, teams, and work environments

  • Outdated, rigid systems

You name it, I’ve seen it, friend.

This journey is what fuels my passion for coaching women on work well-being. Because until the traditional systems around work and career change to genuinely support us, it’s on us to advocate for our own balance, growth, and freedom.

My Credentials

  • Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, Honours in Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching from SACAP

  • 15+ years in consumer insights, research, data, and marketing strategy (with 7 of those years spent leading and mentoring teams)

After spending all this time helping brands understand people so they could sell to them, I’m ready to use my “people skills” to help you understand yourself.

What Makes Me Different as a Coach

My insights and strategic background combined with a naturally curious (and sometimes annoyingly inquisitive) nature make me a bit of a challenging employee (I admit!). But, it’s a big part of what makes me a great coach! I can hold your big vision even when you can’t see it for yourself yet—and help you work through the details to get there. I also notice the subtleties in your tone, body language, and expressions that tell me what your words might not. Allowing us to go a bit deeper than you might with others.

I’m pretty informal, down-to-earth, and relaxed, so my hope is that you feel right at home with me—before I start “reading your mind” 😉
